Description
Parker PGI’s Gauge Siphons and Swivels replace the old style "pigtail" or coiled siphons. The Gauge Siphons are used to provide a thermal barrier which protects your instruments from harmful vapors and the optional safety excess flow check/snubber eliminates damage due to pressure surges. The Gauge Siphons can also be used as either a freeze or steam protector when used with the proper fill fluids. When very high heat is present, the siphon, used in conjunction with the PGI Division’s V-506 Grafoil® packed Hand Valve, reduces temperatures seen at the instrument by lengthening the isolation leg.
